Agatha tries to figure out Wanda in episode 8 of 'WandaVision'

If you haven't wanted episode 7 yet, I would hold off on watching this until then. If you have, then let's dive in. We found out at the end of the last episode that Agnes is really Agatha Harkness (much to not that many's surprise). The biggest question is, is she a good guy or a villain? In the comic book, she dabbles a bit with both sides.

The show starts with seeing how Agatha got all her powers and why she is so determined to know how Wanda did what she did. No surprise, it is power. So she takes Wanda to her past to find out what 'broke her' and how she got her powers.

Back to the past.

We see what happened before the explosion when her parents died when she was 10 and Agatha believes that it was because of Wanda that the Stark bomb didn't explode. This is the part where we see Wanda's love for sitcoms began. We see DVD copies of Dick Van Dyke show, Malcom in the Middle, I Love Lucy. All the shows that we believed the first episodes of this season were paying homage too.

Then we jump to where Wanda was being experimented on. Here, we get a clue to what her powers really come from and the depth of what she can do. The next scene we see where Wanda and Vision's budding relationship began. And of course it is VERY swoonworthy.

The last scene from the past will break your heart. It was painful (but in a good way because Olsen killed this part) as Wanda goes to see Vision's body which is being dismantled. It's painful because SWORD (more specifically Hayward) see Vision as a thing/weapon while Wanda saw Vision as a being. The end of this portion explains why she was in Westview, NJ to begin with and brace yourself to have your heart broken.....ok here we go. Vision bought a lot for them there to 'grow old in' because he knew she would like the small town feeling and they could be happy there. Considering all the loss that Wanda has experienced, she deserves it.

The ending has Agatha explaining that she knows who Wanda is. SPOILER ALERT (but not really). She is a Scarlet Witch. Of course, this is explained completely what Agatha means in her magic world but I am sure we will dive into it in the next episode.

There is a post credit scene so make sure to skip ahead the 15 min of credits (le sigh). In the post credit scene, we see who the REAL villain is (though for me I knew from the beginning because it shouldn't be a big surprise). They are doing some shady stuff and you know that some big stuff is coming down the tunnel.

Some notes to take away, Agatha explains why Pietro was recast and why she was trying so hard to get Wanda to explain her powers. There is some stuff going on with the kids and I wonder if they are 'real' or just part of the illusion. I do question the bunny though, because in the comic books Agatha has a black cat. The next episode is probably going to open up to Vision showing up while Agatha is torturing Wanda and maybe Monica. Since Agatha was mainly in the Fantastic 4 comic books, will she be the connection to them in the Marvel Studios?

There are two episodes left and it seems that they will be a bit longer. This one was quoted at 47 min but with about seven minutes of credits.

What did you think of the show?

Wanda is struggling to keep control in episode 7 of 'WandaVision'

If you are not already hooked on Marvel’s new TV show on Disney+ WandaVision then this week’s episode will certainly have you hook, line, and sinker. This week’s show is titled ‘Breaking the Fourth Wall’ and in some ways it breaks more walls then that. The show hits the 2000s and Modern Family seems to be the theme with some splashes of other sitcoms from the 2000s. I really enjoyed the commentary that Wanda and Vision have when they are talking to the camera. The glances and the 'knowing stare' from Vision are completely spot on.  Like the other episodes, this one is jam-packed with information so you need to make sure you are paying attention. Wanda is slowly but surely losing control of the Hex. The kids are noticing this and want to help but Wanda just thinks relaxing will help (not likely). In the reality part of the show, we discover that Hayward is trying to get Vision back so he can use him as a weapon (no surprise there). Monica and Jimmy meet with her friend (...

Review: 'Dominik' by Sawyer Bennett - Can Dominik tame Willow's wild heart?

In the 6th book of the series, Dominik takes the lead as he tries to get Willow out of his thoughts, but that proves more difficult the more time he spends with her. Willow doesn't want to tie herself down to this man, but the more she fights, the harder she falls. When you do book series like this, it's hard to like every single one. Especially when you unintentionally compare the books with one another. I had a hard time liking the relationship with Dominik and Willow. Perhaps its that we didn't really get to see the beginning (you hear about it in other books) or maybe I just didn't like the way that they are together. It just didn't tickle my fancy. They didn't have that 'it' factor that separates the story from others. I did enjoy the cat and mouse game that Willow was playing with Dominik. That part was entertaining. See a man of Dominik stature get frustrated and make moves that I am sure are out of his character. But even that got old aft...

'Sinful King' by Claire Contreras is now available

The Sinful King, a new, sexy, 100% stand-alone novel by New York Times bestselling author, Claire Contreras, is LIVE! If you had any ties to Marbella, it was impossible for you not to have heard the stories about Prince Elias and his debauchery. Every summer he arrived with his security detail and friends in tow and rented out a row of cottages near the water. Cottages that belonged to my family. Each of those summers, my parents sent me away – summer camp and later, boarding school. Anything to keep me away from the royals and their partying. I hadn’t been home in years, but when I finally come back for the summer, I see that not much has changed. Like all the summers I’d been gone, Prince Elias is back, but this time with an incognito security detail and no friends. This time, there is no partying, no noise, no crowds. No reason at all to even think he was there. I’m given strict orders not to talk to him, not to even look in his direction, but he makes t...
