Sam and Bucky try to stop Karli before she attacks the government in 'The Falcon and Winter Soldier' finale

The finale is finally here and we were not disappointed. In the season finale, titled 'One World, One People', Sam and Bucky race to New York to try and stop the Flag Smashers from their attack.

Sharon quickly joins the fight to help, stating that 'I heard pardons were overrated' and helps Bucky and Sam try and take down the vote and the Flag Smashers. Sam premieres his new Captain America suit and it's amazing! It fits him well and it makes Steve's choice the right choice for Captain America.

Karli has seriously lost control of the situation as she is no longer caring about the message that they first agreed to, but sending out the message she wants, which is that the Flag Smashers should be feared. Walker makes an appearance as his version of Captain America with the fake shield that he made in the cut scene from the last episode, wanting to avenge Lemar.

Sam's resourcefulness and unwillingness to give up shows why he's perfect. He may not have the super soldier serum, but he proves that anybody can be a hero if they work hard and use their brain. Walker begins to see during the fight that what he did was wrong, letting his emotions control him and he tries to be the Captain America that he should have been.

The biggest reveal is that Sharon is the Power Broker (which may come a surprise to some) and Karli was working for Sharon but left her because they had different ideals. Sharon wanted to get power back from the people that took her freedom away and that will not go away anytime soon. Being the clever person that she is, she is able to tie up her loose ends without revealing to Sam who she truly is.

Walker makes a full circle with his emotions from Lemar's death and it is nice to see that. While he is still pompous, he may be of some help for Sam and Bucky if they let him.

Sam makes a beautiful speech at the end. He calls out the government for what they are doing and how they are handling the Blip. He represents the average joe, the one who doesn't have super powers and shows the world to stand up for what they believe in and to not settle.

As the show comes to a close, the prison van with the Flag Smashers survivors 'blows' up but it is a ploy for them to escape (perhaps season 2?). Walker makes his premiere as a US Agent with the help of Val. Bucky finally tells his friend the truth about his son being murdered, finishing his book. Sam is able to help Isiah with his struggles with being a super soldier and being a 'coverup'.

There is a cut scene that shows Sharon getting her full pardon (as Bucky promised) and also her job back. Now, the old Sharon this would mean she would go back to the good side of the law, but this revenege-esque Sharon (yes, this is a reference to a part Emily VanCamp played before) is instead going to use the government secrets to sell to the highest bidder. Guess she isn't over it just yet.

While this finale didn't have the punch that WandaVision had, it still was a great show and sets up for a possible season 2, which I think we would all be on board with.

What did you think of the finale?

Wanda is struggling to keep control in episode 7 of 'WandaVision'

If you are not already hooked on Marvel’s new TV show on Disney+ WandaVision then this week’s episode will certainly have you hook, line, and sinker. This week’s show is titled ‘Breaking the Fourth Wall’ and in some ways it breaks more walls then that. The show hits the 2000s and Modern Family seems to be the theme with some splashes of other sitcoms from the 2000s. I really enjoyed the commentary that Wanda and Vision have when they are talking to the camera. The glances and the 'knowing stare' from Vision are completely spot on.  Like the other episodes, this one is jam-packed with information so you need to make sure you are paying attention. Wanda is slowly but surely losing control of the Hex. The kids are noticing this and want to help but Wanda just thinks relaxing will help (not likely). In the reality part of the show, we discover that Hayward is trying to get Vision back so he can use him as a weapon (no surprise there). Monica and Jimmy meet with her friend (...

Review: 'Dominik' by Sawyer Bennett - Can Dominik tame Willow's wild heart?

In the 6th book of the series, Dominik takes the lead as he tries to get Willow out of his thoughts, but that proves more difficult the more time he spends with her. Willow doesn't want to tie herself down to this man, but the more she fights, the harder she falls. When you do book series like this, it's hard to like every single one. Especially when you unintentionally compare the books with one another. I had a hard time liking the relationship with Dominik and Willow. Perhaps its that we didn't really get to see the beginning (you hear about it in other books) or maybe I just didn't like the way that they are together. It just didn't tickle my fancy. They didn't have that 'it' factor that separates the story from others. I did enjoy the cat and mouse game that Willow was playing with Dominik. That part was entertaining. See a man of Dominik stature get frustrated and make moves that I am sure are out of his character. But even that got old aft...
