'Hacker' by Sawyer Bennett is now available

Code Name: Hacker (Jameson Force Security, Book #4) Sawyer Bennett Release Date: March 31, 2020 Synopsis: I’m not the same Bebe Grimshaw I was years ago. The woman I was spent years behind the bars of the highest security women’s prison in the nation, my punishment for hacking nuclear codes as part of a crime syndicate I’d gotten in way too deep with. The woman I am today doesn’t regret what I did, or the fact that I got caught, but I am remorseful for the years I lost with my son, Aaron. Released from my sentence early thanks to Kynan McGrath, I joined his team at Jameson Force Security and now put my skills to use helping people. I’m just trying to get back a piece of what I lost, focusing solely on raising Aaron and my work at Jameson. As long as I have my son and my career, I’m content. But life has a funny way of letting you know exactly what you need, and when a devastatingly handsome stranger named Griffin befriends Aaron at the park, I have to consider I might be missing...

Pike struggles with his loyalty and what he wants in 'Pike' by TM Frazier

“T.M. Frazier sucks me in every time with her incredible storytelling.”- Meghan March, New York Times bestselling author Pike, the first dark and fast-paced story in The Pawn Duet from USA Today bestselling author T.M. Frazier, is available now! I was raised by the violent laws of the streets, spilling blood without the hindrance of useless emotions or connections.
Unfeeling. Unloved. Alone. My life was perfect. Until her. While on a manhunt for a mysterious enemy, one hellbent on taking both my business and my life, I find Mickey. She's covered in mud, rambling nonsense, and clearly out of her mind. She's also a distraction I don't need. That is until I discover a connection between the girl and my enemy.
Mickey isn't a distraction anymore. She's the perfect weapon. One I'll use to exact my revenge.
The plan is an easy one, but there's something about Mickey that's making it more and more difficult.

'The Mandalorian' - Episode 6 - 'The Prisoner' review

We join our hero as he once again looking for money because as you know children are expensive. And The Child is no exception. He meets an old acquaintance trying to find a job and he has one but catch is, he has to form a Suicide Squad type of team to rescue a prisoner.  Mayfield (Bill Burr, F is for Family ) leads the charge as they try and rescue Xi'an's (Natalia Tena, Game of Thrones ) brother.  Yes Natalia Tena is yet again in another role in a big series. She has now checked off Star Wars on her resume. If that name sounds familiar, she is better known to the Millenials as Tonks from Harry Potter series.  Everything goes according to plan. They all sit back and let TM do all the work. This is shady stuff right? I mean I thought so. They are all supposed to be the best fighters in the galaxy but can't seem to take down four droids?  Seems a bit peculiar. And that gets proven when they trap TM after rescuing the prisoner.  But they severely un...

Review - 'Love at the Bluebird' by Aurora Rose Reynolds - a country singer finds love in an unlikely place

In this book, we go to country music as up and comer Gavin McNeer has given up on love after his last girlfriend cheated on him. He didn't expect to see Alyson Dawson at The Bluebird. Love at first sight effects Gavin and he knows he can't let her go. Much like her other books, it is a quick read, easy to be done in 1-2 sittings. Keep that in mind because their relationship is rushed at the beginning. They go from being strangers to being deep in love in 2 weeks.  Outside of that, it is a cute read and I really enjoyed reading it. It's a story about love and how you shouldn't give up even when the odds are against you. It's about trusting your heart even when your brain says something else. I liked Gavin's character because he isn't that stereotypical musician. He actually has a good heart and that's apparent with his relationship with his cousin.  Rating: B Aurora Rose Reynolds is a New York Times, USA Today and Wall Street Journal...

'The Mandalorian' - Episode 5 - 'The Gunslinger'

With TM escaping the Giant and the life that he could lead, he is back on the run with The Child. He gets to a new planet hoping to find solace while he gets his ship fixed, but instead finds a new rival who is looking to get his name in the game of bounty hunting.  Toro (Jake Cannavale, TV's Nurse Jackie ) is obviously a distraction to TM and he doesn't trust him as far as he can throw him, but he needs him. TM is good at knowing when to tie up loose ends and it's only a matter of time before Toro gets a first-hand lesson.  Class is in session. Toro and TM go on an adventure to go look for parts and money for TM to get his ship fixed. While out there is someone hunting him (shocking right?). Normally, this would cause me to roll my eyes and just move on. But guess who the sniper is? None other then the woman who has not aged in thirty years, Ming-Na Wen (TV's, Agent's of SHIELD ). If you haven't seen her in action, then turn on SHIELD for the f...

TM Frazier's latest book 'Pike' is now available

Born into chaos. Baptized in the gutter.
Pike, the first in the all-new “gritty and captivating” The Pawn Duet from USA Today bestselling author T.M. Frazier, is available now! I was raised by the violent laws of the streets, spilling blood without the hindrance of useless emotions or connections.

'The Mandalorian' - Episode 4 - Sanctuary

We return back to TM trying to escape the war that he started in the last episode. Right out of the gate we get a iconic fight in outer space. Of course, the guy (assuming he is a bounty hunter? also, since when is there a million bounty hunters) is no match for TM as he gets away. But now needs a place to hide. He thinks he finds the perfect spot. To bad they are being attacked by giants and his minions. So what is a man to do. Take down the giant with the help of Cara (Gina Carona who is the amazing Angel Dust in Deadpool) and yes she did do the superhero landing and it was amazing. They team up together to take down the bad guys so that The Child can have a safe place to grow up.  The big idea to take out of the show is that TM is breaking more barriers with his code of honor for the job. It looks like The Child woke something inside of TM and he is now even thinking about taking the helmet off. GASP! While it doesn't work out in this episode, it does set up the ...

Can a king really change his ways, find out in 'The Sinful King' by Claire Contreras

The Sinful King by Claire Contreras Release Date: March 5, 2020 The Sinful King, a new, sexy, 100% stand-alone novel by New York Times bestselling author, Claire Contreras. If you had any ties to Marbella, it was impossible for you not to have heard the stories about Prince Elias and his debauchery. Every summer he arrived with his security detail and friends in tow and rented out a row of cottages near the water. Cottages that belonged to my family. Each of those summers, my parents sent me away – summer camp and later, boarding school. Anything to keep me away from the royals and their partying. I hadn’t been home in years, but when I finally come back for the summer, I see that not much has changed. Like all the summers I’d been gone, Prince Elias is back, but this time with an incognito security detail and no friends. This time, there is no partying, no noise, no crowds. No reason at all to even think he was there. I’m given strict orders not to talk ...
