Wanda learns about her powers in the series finale of 'WandaVision'

This episode, titled 'The Series Finale' is the longest of the season and there is a whole lot going on so it's very easy to miss something. The main storyline is Wanda facing off against Agatha while Vision rushes to her in order to get some answers about his past.

The show picks up right where the last episode left off with Wanda trying to save Billy and Tommy from Agatha. Obviously after some trial and error, she is able to defeat the wicked witch (with a nod to Wizard of Oz). Vision joins up with her and is no longer questioning her decisions and not looking to save her. But to help her. Once again, Vision for swooning win.

Outside of the Hex, Hayward has found Woo is looking to keep him out of the way while he gets ready to attack Wanda with White Vision. He jumps at the opportunity to go inside the Hex and it causes more of an inconvenience for the battle then anything. Real honest, it felt forced and not really adding anything to the story line but to flick around my face like a knat in the summertime. The most important thing from the scene is that Wanda sees the pain she is causing the citizens of Westview. Oh, and Darcy slamming her truck into Hayward and preventing him from escaping.

Monica reveals the truth about fake Quick Silver. He is an 'actor' who lives in Westview who Agatha was controlling to get inside Wanda's head. Monica saves Billy and Tommy and we get to see the boys use their powers (as if they are experts already).

As the show goes on, Wanda and Agatha are having a power of the magic with some grade C CGI work. Of course, the budget is not as high as movies so the quality is about the same level as it was from the first movie in the Marvel cinema. But still effective. While the women are fighting in the sky, Vision has taken on White Vision whose mission is to take out the 'True Vision' and Wanda. Vision is able to convince White Vision that he's not the true Vision because he doesn't have the mind stone. He awakens the memories inside White Vision so he is able to remember everything that happened. Perhaps a Wanda/Vision reunion??

The show is an emotional rollercoaster. Wanda has finally come to terms with her grief and has to say good-bye to her family because she knows that she can't keep the Hex up anymore. The final good-bye for her and Vision is definitely a tear-jerker especially when you realize this is the first time that she was given the chance to say good-bye to a loved one.

There are two post credit scenes so make sure that you stay until the very end. I believe that each scene is setting up another move in Phase 4. The first one is easy. It is a set up for Captain Marvel 2. The second one there is a lot of speculation but I believe that it's for Dr. Strange 2

WandaVision is a one season series and it was perfection. It allowed the fans to understand Wanda/Scarlet Witch in a better way then they would have if they had made a 2.5 hour movie. She looks to be the 'Iron-Man' leading the charge into Phase 4 and certainly sets high hopes for Falcon and Winter Soldier set to come out in 2 weeks.

What did you think of the finale?

Wanda is struggling to keep control in episode 7 of 'WandaVision'

If you are not already hooked on Marvel’s new TV show on Disney+ WandaVision then this week’s episode will certainly have you hook, line, and sinker. This week’s show is titled ‘Breaking the Fourth Wall’ and in some ways it breaks more walls then that. The show hits the 2000s and Modern Family seems to be the theme with some splashes of other sitcoms from the 2000s. I really enjoyed the commentary that Wanda and Vision have when they are talking to the camera. The glances and the 'knowing stare' from Vision are completely spot on.  Like the other episodes, this one is jam-packed with information so you need to make sure you are paying attention. Wanda is slowly but surely losing control of the Hex. The kids are noticing this and want to help but Wanda just thinks relaxing will help (not likely). In the reality part of the show, we discover that Hayward is trying to get Vision back so he can use him as a weapon (no surprise there). Monica and Jimmy meet with her friend (...

Review: 'Dominik' by Sawyer Bennett - Can Dominik tame Willow's wild heart?

In the 6th book of the series, Dominik takes the lead as he tries to get Willow out of his thoughts, but that proves more difficult the more time he spends with her. Willow doesn't want to tie herself down to this man, but the more she fights, the harder she falls. When you do book series like this, it's hard to like every single one. Especially when you unintentionally compare the books with one another. I had a hard time liking the relationship with Dominik and Willow. Perhaps its that we didn't really get to see the beginning (you hear about it in other books) or maybe I just didn't like the way that they are together. It just didn't tickle my fancy. They didn't have that 'it' factor that separates the story from others. I did enjoy the cat and mouse game that Willow was playing with Dominik. That part was entertaining. See a man of Dominik stature get frustrated and make moves that I am sure are out of his character. But even that got old aft...
