In the first book of the series, we return to the Pucked world that Hunting first brought us to. Rook is going to Alaska for a vacation and meets the girl of his dream. But she probably is because she doesn't recognize him. Flash forward a year later, she learn who he really is and problems ensue. There is a scene in this story that annoyed me to the point where I had to pause it to regroup before I could continue. There is a part where Rook accuses Lanie of something and she just forgives him with the snap of his fingers. It annoyed me because it was a pretty big accusation and she didn't even stay mad at him. It even prevented me from giving it 5 stars because of it. If you take that scene out, I would have loved the story. I liked the back and forth between the characters and it was a good ole fashioned love story.
