  Saturday, we got our first look at Matt Reeves's new film 'The Batman' that is set to come out in October 2021. The movie stars Robert Pattinson as the caped crusader and many fans were reluctant to see him take on such an iconic role, probably because most people cannot let go of his character in Twilight . Looking at the film subjectively, it looks like it has all the makings of a good Batman movie and fits well with the trilogy by Christopher Nolan. It's dark, gritty, and definitely has that noir feeling that Reeves was going for.  We do get first looks of Pattinson as Batman (a pretty cool fight sequence right at the end) and a quick glimpse of Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as The Riddler, Colin Farrell as The Penguin, and the best cameo, the Batmobile.   For my personal opinion, the jury is still out. My issue with Pattinson has nothing to do with the fact that he was Edward in Twilight . My issue is that he's just not someone I would see as Batman. But ...
